The UnoVac represents the most important improvement in surgical drainage technology in the last 40 years. Thanks to its unique hemispherical suction chamber, the UnoVac provides a virtually constant suction level throughout the entire active drainage period.
The combination with Umer’s special drainage catheter allows the UVac a low-vacuum suction that enables faster wound healing, less tissue trauma and reduced risk of infection.
The creation of vacuum and the consequent entry of liquids into the suction chamber are activated very easily: simply press.
Special non-return valves eliminate the need to manoeuvre clamps, leaving your hands free to empty the system. The characteristic absence of clamps therefore avoids the risk of clamps opening by mistake, allowing potentially dangerous reflux. In short, it can be said that there is no safer or more economical low-vacuum drainage system.
